Your photograph recently won a photography competition and will be shown in an exhibition. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
. describe the photograph you sent to the competition
. tell him/her about the exhibition where your photo will be shown
. invite him/her to the exhibition
Dear Amit,
I'm very excited to share a good news with you that I won an award for a photography competition.
I clicked the picture of the famous Sealink bridge along with eveing sky and ocean view landscapes in the background. Even though the bridge covers almost one-third portion of the photograph and was initially intended to serve as the main focus element, the orange sun with dawn effect really grabs the attention along with oceanic view. I was immediately mesmerised by this photo and decided to give it a shot at the arts fair.
The arts fair is a national exhibition that displays many arts forms including painting, scupture, drama, dance etcetera. The exhibition is a three day fun activity and people can participate in many events; speaking of which, my picture will be displayed at a large screen at the "Click and Capture" section next to the Oil painting zone. I will be awarded the cash prize money on the last day of the event after evening tea and snacks.
I would be delighted to see you there especially at the awards ceremony as you are the one who motivated me to become a professional photographer. Infact, if you wish, I can register your invite for a three day pass as well because I have a feeling that you would enjoy all forms of art that will be shown here at the exhibition.
Looking forward to meeting you soon!
Warmest regards,
John
