In the last few decades there have been more and more cases of famous people being hounded by the press. Some people think that famous people in the media have no right privacy.

To what extent do you agree?

It is often believed that due to attention given to popular people, they lost privacy in their lives. I completely agree with the statement because people want to get updated about famous people life and compromising the privacy put extra pressure on those famous stars.

Firstly, in general, public is always interested about celebrities' lifestyle. That is to say that not only people want to know about their life, but also want to copy them in reality. To provide this information to public, media always try to find the footprints of public figures, and often steps into their private life. To illustrate, a constant telecasting of a famous couple, Virat and Anushka, was came in limelight. After few incidents, this couple had expressed their anger publicly, about compromisation of their privacy rights. That is why, it should be a common sense for the public and media to not infiltrate the life of celebrities.

Further, excessive public attention adds extra pressure on a celebrity. Nevertheless to mention that whenever a top-grade people get recognized among masses, expectation of public with that person on top are increased. To cop up with that, they have to put tremendous efforts in their respective trade and if they fail to achieve that they feel performance pressure which further leads into long-term stress. For instance, a famous actor, Sushant Singh, suicided due to loss of contracts of upcoming projects. This was mainly because of the stress he felt from his fans. Thus, it is important to give personal space to famous people to avoid any unfortunate happening to famous people.

To conclude, I still agree with the scenario because privacy should not be compromised of anyone and extra interference can put pressure on the famous people which can be fatal sometimes.
