Due to rapid advancement of technology, a drastic change has arrived in each and every field . There is an alluring trend these days of social networking sites. Let us delve deeper and look at the both sides of a coin before concluding any opinion.
In this modern era, people are always busy and social on social networking sites and applications. It has bestowed us with multiple options of connecting with friends and family staying at distant places not only by one platform but tremendous of them are present in market like Facebook, Instagram whats app and so on. Moreover people are getting social not only with their near and dear one but they are also using it for expanding their work circle. For example an HR Recruiter can find multiple new connects and candidates on LinkedIn. According to a recent survey published in Hindustan Times 80-90% of recruitment are covered by various social websites.
On the other hand, apart from having positive effects of technology there are some negative impacts also on social life of people. They are majorly into virtual world as compared to real world as they are spending more time online which is making them isolated from their family and friends. They start taking their closed ones as granted moreover they are not interested in having interaction with them. Additionally, young generation is getting indulge in wrong deeds due to some people present on these websites which in turn is dangerous for the society.
In my opinion, technology has become the part and parcel of our life so getting online is quint essential for our progressive life but people need to understand and make corrective usage of it.
To sum up, it is a demand of society to stay updated, upgraded and to walk with the fast pace of life, however everything should be used in a well versed manner.
