Women and men are commonly seen as having different strengths and weaknesses. Is it right to exclude males or females from certain professions because of their gender?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
It is often argued that feminizes and masculine have distinct strengths and some weak points. This essay agrees with the phenomenon up to some extent that it is appropriate to distribute work on a gender basis. This essay firstly discusses how women are ignored while attributing many physical tasks and secondly how many occupations are there which find girls better than boys.
On the one hand, many jobs need hard work skills in which normally only young boys are only preferred such as army or police force. The prime reason behind this is an emotional attachment with their near and dear ones. Because of this, they are not found capable of taking appropriate hard decisions spontaneously. For example, In the Indian navy many positions of women replaced by the male after performing war training because they were found failed in taking decisions. Despite this, many women have fought in many wars, famously on the Eastern Front for Russia, so maybe it is men’s’ attitudes that prevent them from performing rather than their stature.
On the other hand, there are some tasks that are there which required special soft care such as beauty parlor or nanny positions. Indeed such businesses are choosing women only as they are more superior in caring for children as well as they have profound knowledge of salon activities. for instants, many boys in India failed at interviews for the post of kinder garden teacher just because they only find females more accurate for their positions.
In conclusion, although some work needs more prompt suitable care from different genders, I am of the firm belief that employers have to prohibit some positions to gender basis only if the circumstances occurred of having single gender positions.
