There are different types of workers in today's society. Some people argues that workers doing similar tasks all day long will be more satisfied because they will be more familiar with their work and can complete it with less time and energy, which sounds plausible. From my perspective, however, it is more satisfying for workers to do different kinds of tasks for the following reasons.
Firstly, it will be too boring and unbearable to repeat the same work all day long. Just imagine a place that require you to learn math all day long as well as everyday, would you bear such requirement? How long could you endure in this environment? I mean, all you could do is studying math! I really think it would be a hall for me, and I think it's why the school arrange different classes for us in one day. So as to workers, I think it is better to offer different tasks for them to complete which will make their life not so boring.
Moreover, workers may learn some more new knowledge by doing different tasks and meeting new friends. Different tasks may need different skills, workers could learn and practice those skills when they do the work, which may be beneficial to them in the future. If one day, they do not want to stay in this factory and want to change their job, then these skills may help them to find new jobs easily. Also, because they have to go different places to learn and do other tasks, it is more likely that they could make new friends who will help them a lot in the future.
Although it is probably true that doing different types of tasks may require more time and energy to do the job at first, but in the long run, it's worth it. They will be increasingly proficient with all kinds of tasks and one day and could finish all these tasks with little strength.
In conclusion, it's my firm belief that doing different tasks in work is more beneficial to workers because they are less likely boring and can also learn new skills and make more friends during work time.
