In this set of materials, the reading and listening passage are about a new policy which is four days employees instead of working five days a week.

First of all, according to the lecture, 4 days employee is requiring to spend more money such as providing training, medical benefit. Also the companies are supposed to spend high costs on purchasing computers and preparing office spaces. On the contrary, the author claims that working 4 days a week will increase company's profits and workers make fewer errors while they are working.
Secondly, the professor suggests that a hiring a new employee become more available and it is more costly than 5 days a week. Moreover, the reading passage further explains that working 4 days a week was created fewer overworked employees and not to decrease company's benefits,
Finally, in the lecture states that the employees having free time also it is making risk such as decreasing quality of life and job's ability. In the contrast, the reading passage point out that having free time increasing job's quality of workers, private time and family's well-beings.
