In this set of materilas the reading passages discusses that, alteration in method of documenting medical reports from paper form to electronic form has a lot of advantage over traditional paper-based record keeping. While, in the listening the professer casts doubts on what is presented in the text and beleves that the reason that explain for advantage of electronic documention to paper based is uncertain.
First of all, in the text it is clearlt mentioned that changing from traditional form to the electronic system led to reducing cost and save mony. However, the professor claims that most of the doctors used mainly from paper records and they update their patients record to electronic version just as backup fild for safity.
In addition, the professor disagree with this idea that the electronic recoprds can dicline the chance of medical errors. She says that most of the docters even some of them that updated the electronic system of recording, they writghing the records by hand and later time the employees puting this details to the electronic system.
Finally, in the text it is stated that the electronic records provide the possibility of access of medical researcher to the large number of data from patient records. The professor subscribes that based Unaited State laws the patient records is privcy and access to them possible just through several and hard number of stage.
