TPO42 Integrated Writing

The male professor in the lecture finds it will not work well in ways that reading passage give to protect birds from injuries. In other words, he casts doubt on what the reading passage states. And in the lecture, he uses three convincing points to support his idea.
To begin with, the author of the reading passage contends that we can use one-way glass so that birds can not see in from outside and will not try to pass the glass. The speaker, however, refutes that birds will misunderstand the sky and tree which reflect in glass as true, as a result, they will fly to the glass. Apparently, the idea of the reading passage is dubious.
Furthermore, contrary to the second ways the reading passage gives that we could add some colorful designs such as thin stripes and paints in the glass, the lecturer claims that only if the holes are small enough that birds will not try to fly through the opening holes, however, this will cause the room inside the building too dark, which differs from what the reading reveals.
Last but not least, the listening material confute the statement showed in the reading passage that we could install electromagnets to emit magnetic filed to guide the direction of birds away from building, by pointing out that birds use eye to determine their path when they are fly in short distance, thus, this idea would not work. Clearly, it is a third point which is in conflict with its counterpart in the reading.
