urban foresting
Urban foresting is an issue of concern and to protect it from exploitation author has given some suggestions to consider to protect the existing forest. The professor refutes all the suggestions because she thinks none will be beneficial.
To begin with, one suggestion given by the author is Legislation. The professor sees flaws in this suggestion and she further explained the reason for thinking in such a way. She explained that such a program was once made years ago but did not work. She further carried that these programs are complicated and include many languages and in this way, the enforcement of legislation never happened.
The second suggestion was support via public funds or private funds. The professor disagrees with this opinion and explained that this will lead to a great impact on people's life because this will lead to an increase in taxes. She stated that only a small amount of funds can be collected by a private fund and this will consume 80% of taxes from the public. She thinks in such a way because the new plan has not given any clarification.
Another suggestion includes a campaign. The professor agrees that this would be beneficial. It should be the one to implemented in first phase. However, she states that people should make the proper goal because earlier many vague goals were set.
