According to the lecture, professor illustrates visual-spatial intelligence by explaining its importance in the game of chess. Furthermore, he states some examples in the chess game that it related to the visual-spatial intelligence. Generally the points in the lecture proves the points in the reading.

First, the lecture state the chess masters can draw a picture of chessboard they have seen for just a moment, if the pieces are set in meaningful position. Thus, this shows the clues in the reading that people with visual-spatial intelligence are able to perceive patterns and draw objects after seeing them for only a short time.

Second, the lecture believes that a blindfolded chess player has to remember the movements of the chess pieces and hold a picture if the chessboard into the mind. Also, this issue explain in to the reading that people with visual-spatial intelligence have the ability to create and transform mental imagery.

Third, the lecture states that chess players remember plan, strategies and patterns of reasoning of important games that they have played. This subject proves in the reading because this matter explain that people with visual-spatial intelligence have superior visual memory and the ability to predict and plan ahead.
