Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.

The chart illustrates the generation of gross domestic product by two different industries in the UK over the period 1992 to 2000. Units are measured in percentages. Overall what stands out from the chart is that although the GDP created from both industries increased, information technology industry was considerably higher than service industry over the time frame mentioned in the question.

With regards to the information technology, even though the product stood at just over 6% in 1992, the proportion went up sharply to 8% in 1994 followed by a negligible drop to just under 8% in 1996. Over the
remaining four years, there was a rapid rise in the product to around 15.5%, making it the highest amount.

Turning to the service industry, beginning at 4% in 1992, there was a dramatic increase to around 6.5% in 1994. However, in the remaining last period, the industry witnessed a steady rise in the yield to just over 8%, which was nearly a half of other industry.
