The given pie charts illustrates the information about water usages for 3 different purposes in six areas of the world. It is noteworthy that a vast majority of the water has been used in agricultural sectors all over the world.
The water usage for industrial purposes in North America holds almost half share of the pie chart at 48% while the rest half of pie chart has been divided between domestic use and agricultural use at 13% and 39% respectively. However, in South America industrial usage of water holds a rather miniscule share at 10%. The majority water usage is allotted to agricultural field at 71% and just 19% of water is used in houses. We can see similar figures to North America in Europe. Industrial use holds a slight majority of water usage at 53% while agricultural and domestic usages are at 32% and 15% respectively.
In Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia, the water usages in different sectors show similar amounts. In each country agricultural usage of water holds a majority share at 84%, 88% and 81% in Africa, Central and South East Asia respectively. Conversely, only a negligible part of water use is given to domestic usage at 9% in Africa and 7% in both Central and South East Asia. Likewise, Industrial use of water also holds small share at 7% in Africa, 5% in Central Asia and 12% in South East Asia.
