Overall, the number of female graduates and the number of male students follow quite the same pattern of changes over the period, except that the former is much more in abundance than the latter.
According to the data, over the period of 1992 to 2000, the number of both male and female students experienced a minor fluctuation in which, from 1992 to 1995, they both had a slight increase of over 100 000 for female students and of approximately 80 000 for males. After this, both of them had a gradual fall back to the rate of 1992 that is 100 000 and 70 000 for females and males respectively.
The period of 1999 to 2007 witnessed a considerable growth in the amount of both genders. The quantity of girl graduates, especially in 2007, hit the peak of 150 000 which was almost 50 000 students more than the amount of boys that was of nearly 100 000 in the same year.
