the diagrams below show the site of a school in 2004 and the plan for changes to the school site in 2024
The maps illustrate the differences between a school structure in 2004 and the renovation plan of that school in 2024.
Overall we can clearly see that the 2024 school will be able to hold more student than the previous version. The increase in capacity is mainly due to an additional school building and another car park on the northeast side of the site.
Firstly, the scenic of the school will be changed drastically in 2024 with the size reduction of the sports field. Placed in the north end of the school in 2004, the sports field will be relocated in the east side parallel to the school building number two. Part of the old sports field will be transformed into a second parking spot which also connected to the main entrance via a new road.
Secondly, the facilities of the school will also change greatly throughout the 20 years-period. As an example, at the site of the old sports field, there will be another school building with the capacity to withhold nearly 400 students. In addition, the path located in the middle of building 1 and 2 will be shortened and intersected with a new hallway that connects the two building together.
