A friend has agreed to look after your house and pet while you are on holiday.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
• give contact details for when you are away
• give instructions about how to care for your pet
• describe other household duties
Dear Mathew,
Hope you are doing well. Although it’s been a hectic week for me as I was busy preparing for my vacation next week to Bali however on the other side I felt relieved when you agreed to look after my house and pet dog snowy for a few days. I really appreciate your help.
Further to this let me share some important details and instructions with you which you will need while you stay here. Firstly I will carry my mobile phone and would be reachable on the same local number. I would prefer if you text me since it much cheaper in comparison to voice calls. Secondly, you need to feed snowy pedigree and milk twice a day in the morning and evening. The dog food is kept in the kitchen on the shelves located beside the refrigerator however if he doesn’t eat pedigree you could feed him boiled chicken which is kept inside the refrigerator. Additionally, I have told Smith he will come every day to take snowy out for morning and evening walk.
Lastly, you need to water the plants every day in the balcony and a technician will contact you tomorrow as he will be coming to fix the refrigerator.
I hope you will enjoy your stay at my home and do text me in case of an emergency.
Best wishes
