Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Rakesh Soni, resident of South Mumbai and I am writing about an article I read in your newspaper dated 25th March and was a great read but would like to tell you that it has some incorrect information and facts.
Let me explain in detail. The article which I read in your newspaper is based on biography of our greatest legend cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and I am one of his admirer for his achievements in his sports career. First of all, I must state that article is quite interesting and it gave many insights right from his childhood sports career to his mammoth achievements just before his retirement. However, I was daunted to notice some blunders in the article that I deem should not have been overlooked.
The fact that he completed his first One Day international Century in 1996 against England is incorrect. He actually achieved this milestone two years before i.e. 1994 against Pakistan. Moreover he is not Matriculation failed student, but he has successfully completed his High School without any kind of backlogs.
I wish follow-up article or an editorial correction should clarify these issues as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,
Rakesh Soni
