public health
Every time you turn on the television or flick through the page of newspapers, you learn about public health and related illnesses and disorders. Some people believe that government should take steps to introduce new laws pertain to food eaten by individuals to stave off its negative effects whereas others believe that it is a kind of choice that should be given for the persons. In this essay, I will look at both views and express my own idea with examples.
On the one hand, it is argued that government can bring about public health in order to enhancing people’s physical and mental health. Most of the researchers suggest that about 65 per cent of countries experienced nutritious-related implementations, has guaranteed their individuals’ health. In addition, nowadays people lack significant substances including vitamins and minerals. If people took their responsibilities for absorbing these requisite substances, the number of illnesses would decrease substantially and would improve public health. Therefore, the proponents of this idea emphasis the astonishing role which can be played by government to improve public health.
On the other hand, there are people who argue that making the decision regarding nutritious foods are for the people. Even though this idea tends to be controversial and can cause arguments, however, it is said that every human must have the right of choice whether for food or other issues. What is more, it should be taken into consideration that current economic crisis, makes it difficult to adopt new measures because the ones are struggling with these days way of life. Consequently, it is pointed out that this problem can be tackled individuals.
In conclusion, despite lots of controversial arguments related to public health issues whether to be solved by government or people, personally, I believe that government can affect strikingly because of its wealth and power to introduce much more effective laws. Also it should not be forgotten that without people’s participation, this subject would be frustrating to be addressed effectively.
