The pie charts below show how dangerous waste products are dealt with in three countries.
The graphs compare the ways in which harmful garbage is treated among three nations, namely Korea, Sweden and the UK.
Looking at the graphs, it is immediately obvious that the UK has the most various methods in the hazardous waste treatment. In Sweden and the UK, the most famous way to solve this problem is to bury waste below the Earth, while in Korea, recycling is the most preferable method.
In the UK, burying underground registers the highest proportion of dangerous waste disposal. It makes up the biggest part with 82%, compares with 12 % made up together by disposing waste by fire, by chemicals and dumping at sea, with 2%, 8%, 8% respectively. Not making as much as in the UK, in Sweden, burying below the Earth makes up smaller percentage with 55%, while recycling and incineration take significant proportion with 25% and 20%.
Unlike the UK, where recycling is not taken as a way of harzardous waste treatment, it is the most popular method in Korea. Reusing dangerous harmful garbage after appropriate treatment accounts for 69% of waste treatment, compares with 9% for incineration and 22% for burying below the Earth.
