The diagram below shows how electricity is generated in hydroelectric power station
A snapshot of how hydroelectric power station produce electricity.
First of all, water trapped in high-level reservoir behind dam from river is forced through an intake. In daylight, intake open but in the night show the reverse. Flow of water to generate electricity in the daylight into a naromrow chamber, where the resulting high pressure thurn a power station, while in the night, flow of water pump from power station.
After the water arrived in the power station which connect to a generator, and this is where the movement of the powerhouse is converted into electricity, so this source is felt by a lot of people. And then, the water flows out through a reversible turbine and into low-level reservoir. However, in the night reversible turbines pump water into high-level reservoir.
Overall, the process requires the construction of a large dam connected to a powerhouse. The flow of water in terms by time (daylight and night).
