You play a team sport with some friends. Last week a member of the team had an accident and wasn't able to play with you at the weekend. You decide to write to him in hospital, telling him about the match.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter,
• tell him which team won
• describe the conditions on the day
• say how you felt about the match
Dear Mohan,
I heard about your accident on road through Rajesh. I hope you will recover soon from this incident. I am writing this letter to explain you about the last weekend match with Nepal cricket team, the one which you missed due to the injuries. You will be glad to know that, we won the match with 35 runs in hand.
Although, the weather conditions were not good to play a high score match due to the cloudy day, we won the toss and played 1st innings and scored the total of 280 runs. On the other side, this time Nepal team was not able to play a good batting which results with the overall total of 245 runs only. And at the amidst of second inning, the sun start shinning which also helped us to take the wickets quickly and restrict their total batting line up on early stages.
I and the whole team are excited after winning the trophy, however, your absence was difficult to manage during the game and even at the time of celebrations. Thus I decided to write you and to make you feel proud on our team.
Get well soon buddy, the whole team wants you to see on field as early as possible.
Best regards,
Vishal Bhat
