The pie charts illustrate the amount of electricity generated from 5 main fuel resources in two nations over two decades.
It can be clearly seen that the generated units also increased in Australia and France despite the importance of natural gas decreased. Overall, one interesting fact was that the development of nuclear power was only applied in France.
Over 20 years, the total electricity generation were increased from 100 and 90 units to 170 units and 180 units significantly for Australia and France. The largest component was coal at 50 and 25 units independently in 1980, while it was still the biggest power generated source at 130 units sharply in Australia, as well as remained unchanged in France after 20 years.
The importance of natural gas was decreased in both nations from 20 and 25 units to 2 units also. As for generated Hydropower, it increased in Australia to 36 units gradually whereas there was just 2 units produced same as Natural gas in France in 2000. In Australia, oil was the lowest contributed source at 10 units in 1980be the lowest with natural gas at 2 units continually. Moreover, Nuclear power became the most popular in France by 111 units to 126 units suddenly.
