The reading discusses that buzzing has created many controversies so many critics would like to see it banned, hence, the author listed three critics. However, the lecturer finds all the critics dubious and presents some evidence to refute all of them.
First, the author mentioned that consumers should know the person praising a product is being paid to praise. On the other hand, the speaker dismissed this critic and asserts that the company finds the user of its product, thus, it is not an ordinary advertisement. For example, the phone company gets a true buzzer that used this product before and was satisfied.
Furthermore, the author points out that they pretend to be a private individual. In contrast, the speaker casts doubt on this issue and states that people can ask a lot of questions about price, services and other things and if the person did not answer them and does not have enough knowledge about them they can refuse to purchase it.
last but not least, the reading passage proposes that it has a harmful effect on civilization. On the contrary, in contradictions with the reading material, the speaker declares that can ask buzzer about phone number, service consumer, good expensive and other things to trust the buzzer and be sure the person is trustworthy. In conclusion, according to the listening material, the argument that criticizes the buzzer is rejected.
