The graph illustrates the total number of minutes of telephone calls in the UK, distinguish in three catagories, from 1995 to 2oo2.
Overall, Mobile calls have shown dramatically increase pattern in these eight years, also national and international calls registered a consistent increase in numbers. However, Local calls fluctuates and finally records the same numbers as in 1995.
The Mobile calls recorded in 1995 was the lowest in Uk when compared to other categories. Till 1999 Moile calls were increasing but not in a significant way, the maximum minutes of calls were 15 billions. The trend of Mobile calls started recording a massive increase in numbers since 2ooo where it has reached to 25 billions and maintain the consistency and was recorded 45billion in 2oo2.
National and international calls have always been in demand as the numbers of minutes of telphone calls have never registered a down fall. In 1995 numbers of minutes was slightly less then 4o billion which has reached to nearly 6o billions. Whereas local fixed line calls started from 7o billions and have reached to its maximum numbers that is 9o billions in 1999, but since that year a down fall is noticed which drop down upto the same starting year.
