The given pie charts illustrate how yearly amounts of funding of a specific UK school were designated for a variety of fees in 1981, 1991 and 2001 respectively.
Overall, it is clear that salaries for human resources accounted for large proportions of the school’s total spending, while the percentages of money invested in insurance were the lowest during these given years.
It is apparent the pay for teachers represented the biggest percentage of all three charts with small dispersion between 40 - 50%. In contrast, the salaries of other workers showed a remarkable reduction in the same periods, starting with 28% in 1981 then dropping to 22% in 1991 and finally reaching the bottom point for this expenditure line at 15% in 2001.
Turning to the other areas, expenses for resources as well as for furniture and equipment were equal in 1981 with a value of 15%. With noticeable changes to the opposite sides in the 1991 spending for these segments eventually decreased to 9% for resources and jumped to 23% for furniture and equipment in 2001. At the same time, it should be noted that the costs of insurance were minimal at each reported year with the lowest percentage (2%) in 1981 and with a little increase to 8% in the final year.
