The graph below shows the number of university graduates in Canada from 1992 to 2007.
The given line chart compares the number of students further classified as males and females who graduated from a Canadian university over a period of 15 years from 1992 to 2007.
Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that more females than males were graduated throughout the given time period. Moreover, the number of graduates kept on rising significantly among both the genders over time.
According to the given illustration, in 1992, exactly 70,000 boys certified as graduates as compared to the girls, who were higher in number by 30,000. From there, both males and females observed an upward trend until 1995, as the latter climbed to 105,000, up by nearly 35,000 then the former. After that, whilst the girls experienced a plunge between 1995 and 1999, as their number slipped back to 1 million, facing a few fluctuations, boys also reached close to the initial value.
Thereafter, 2000 onwards, although each gender witnessed a dramatic increase to a peak value of 150,000 and 93,000 respectively, girls maintained the highest position with a wider difference.
