The graph below shows the spending on research into renewable sources of energy in four countries between 1975 and 2000. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The provided graphic demonstrates the expenditure on various researches which is relevant to renewable resources in four distinct nations, namely Switzerland, Denmark, Spain, and UK, over the course of 25 years, starting in 1975.
A first glance at the line graph reveals that the entire investment in the renewable sources industry of the Swiss transcended that of other counterparts. In addition to this, while Switzerland and Denmark registered an upsurge, the others experienced an inverse pattern throughout the surveyed course.
As is shown in the chart, it is manifest that both individual spending of Switzerland and Denmark ascended to 2 dollars and around 2.3 dollars. In comparison to these figures in the next decade, which observed a noticeable acceleration in the Swiss, that statistic in Denmark was leveling off. However, in the last 10 years, two regions increased with no sign of reduction and reached their peak at 5 dollars and nearly 3.5 dollars respectively.
Now, turning to the other details, it is striking to see that that the remained data fluctuated. Initially, Spanish and British residents indicated an analogous expenditure on renewable source industry with a mere of 1.2 dollars. In 1990, while the spending of Britain rose to around 1 dollar per capita, Spanish only paid for 20 cents; however, at the end of the given period, Spanish expended for more than 50 cents per person, this figure in the UK was approximately 10 cents for each.
