The graph compares the sale of three different books namely children’s books, adult fiction and educational books in a single country between the years 2002 and 2006.
Overall, children’s books showed an upward trend throughout the column, while with minor fluctuations other two sellers show a downfall.
In year 2002 adult fiction was bestselling book with earnings of about 45 million dollars after which its sale began falling and reached near about 38 million in year 2003. Between the years 2003 to 2004 sales of the same rise moderately but can’t maintain the state and with a drastic fall sale ended at 30 million dollars in year 2010.
Children’s books started with earnings of more than 30 million in 2002 and that of educational books had a difference of approximately 10 million. In the upcoming year, a sharp growth was seen in the sale of both books but unfortunately popularity of academic books began to fall year by year resulting in about 32 million sales in year 2006, on the other hand, children’s book gathered considerable population hence, earning boosted from near about 42 million in 2003 to around 55 million in 2006.
