The given bar chart illustrates the rate of yearly expenditure on clothes each person on an average in the US in three years 1985, 1995, and 2005
Overall,it is clear that women spent the most on clothes. The average spending on clothes by women dramatically increased whereas the expenditure on others clothes witnessed a slight rose
In the first year, it can be seen that the expenditure on boys' and girls' clothes started at the lowest point at around 140 dollars individual while the clothing expenses on male's clothes in this country was 300 dollars each person. The average spending on female's clothes was approximately 450 dollars per person and stood at the the highest point. In 1995, there were slightly increased on boys' and girls' clothes expenditure, at 150 and 160 dollars each person respectively compared to 470 dollars individual on female's expenditure. At the same time, the spending on male's clothes saw a dramatic rose of 300 to over 400 dollars each person on an average.
In 2005, the figure for female's clothes experienced a drastic growth, at 650 dollars individuals and stood at the highest point during this time frame. The average spending on clothes for males was much lower than the figure fo females, at about 400 dollars each person on an average. By contrast, there was a slightly climbed on girl's clothes expenditure, at 180 dollars individual and the spending on boys' clothes remained during this time frame.
