The given chart has illustrated the people’s habit of buying and drinking tea and coffee in five Australian cities based on the responses of a survey.
It is important to note that the proportion of people who bought fresh coffee in the last 4 weeks is always the lowest in every cities that has taken the survey, while the percentage of whom went to a café for coffee is the highest among 4 over 5 cities.
Comparing to other criteria, the percentage of a city residents who bought fresh coffee over last four weeks is the lowest. While the figures for that seem to be higher in the city of Sydney and Melbourne (both are around 43%), that figures in the other cities are incredibly low, one even down to 34%. In Brisbane and Adelaide, the number of people bought instant coffee or went to a café are twice as much as that of whom buy fresh coffee.
Meanwhile, the percentage of people who bought instant coffee seems to be more balance in all five cities. From the survey, it is apparent that about 45% to 55% of the number of people who took the survey bought instant coffee in the last 4 weeks. Moreover, it seems that people tended to go to a café for a coffee or tea since 50% to 65% of the city residents would rather going to a café to just simply buying coffee. This makes these figures the highest in 4 over 5 cities.
