The two diagrams give information about the percentage of various resources used in producing energy in France over a period of 10 years, from 1995 to 2005.
Overall, gas and coal occupied more than 50% of the proportion in two years. Moreover, most of the inputs witnessed upward trends, except for the petrol sector.
In 1995, coal and gas took up relatively similar percentages with 29.80% and 29.63%, respectively. Ten years later, both of them increased by almost 1%, being the two most common categories among the given ones.
After ten years, nuclear and other sources of energy climbed insignificantly by approximately 4.5%, reaching 10.10% and 9.10%, respectively. On the other hand, petrol’s percentage reduced to 19.55% of the proportion of those generating energy, compared to 29.27% falling into its figure for the year 1995.
