The chart below shows the value of one country’s exports in various categories during 2015 and 2016. The table shows the percentage change in each category of exports in 2016 compared with 2015.
The graph provides information about the amount of money received by a nation from various export commodities in 2015 and 2016. Meanwhile, the table illustrates the change in the value of each export good's earnings. Looking for an overall perspective, the export incomes gained by the country was a slight increase, except for gems and jewelry experiencing a small change.
In the initial year, the amount of money received from petroleum products was approximately 70 billion dollars, raised by 3% to around 74 billion dollars in 2016. Engineer goods were seen a considerable rise in the first year, from just above 70 billion dollars to approximately 74 billion dollars in 2016 (8.5% in change). Conversely, gems and jewelry earnings stood at around 55 billion dollars, and by 2016, the income from these products had decreased to about 52 billion dollars (5, 18% decreasing).
Around 35 billion of earning came from textiles commodities, and in 2016, the figure went up to just above 40 billion dollars. This earning change was the highest percentage among the export values. In addition, there was almost no change in the earnings from agricultural products.
