The graphs below show the types of music albums purchased by people in Britain according to sex and age.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.
The graph details the categories of album buyers in the UK based on genders and ages, described in percentage.
Looking from all perspectives, it is readily apparent that males tend to purchase more albums than their female counterparts, whereas the age group, ranging from 25 to 34 gathers the album buyers the most. Regarding the genders, only 20% of the females are interested in buying music tracks while the category of males has a much higher figure which is 30%. On the other hand, middle-aged individuals (25-34) have a tendency to spend more money to buy albums than the rest of the age groups, showing its percentage at just above 30%. The trend is followed by young adult groups (16-24) standing precisely at 30%. Meanwhile, people in their late 30s seem to get less interested in purchasing tracks with 5% lower than the young adults. Last but not least, the age group of over 45 has the least buying figure among all age-related categories, pointing at only 10%.
To sum up, pop music albums are expected to be purchased more by men rather than by women, and individuals in their 20s and 30s seem to have more interest in music albums than those in their late 30s and beyond.
