Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that full-time workers accounted for the highest proportion regarding various destination after graduating, while unknown and students with full-time postgrad study had the lowest percentage. Graduates who worked in government sector or as a freelance consultant earned significantly higher than private companies.
Regarding the kinds of jobs post-graduate students chose, full-time jobs constituted slightly over 50%, three and four times higher than that figure of part-time and unemployed students, which were 15% and 12% respectively. Both the proportion of full-time postgrad study and unknown were 8%, while students with a combination of part-time work and postgrad study was at a lower level of 5%.
Considering the salaries of Anthropology graduates in work after five years, 40% of employees worked as freelance consultant earned either $75,000-99,000 or 100,000+, whereas the figures of government sector workers were 30% and 50% respectively. While the percentage of employees working for private companies for the two aforementioned salary range was marginally lower, the number of graduates earned 50,000-74,999 was significantly higher than other types of employment.
