The pie graphs below show the result of a survey of children's activities. The first graph shows the cultural and leisure activities that boys participate in, whereas the second graph shows the activities in which the girls participate.
Write a report describing the information shown in the two pie graphs.
Write at least 150 words.
The first pie graph depicts the percentage of the cultural and free-time activities that boys take part in, while the second graph illustrates the proportion of those that the girls join. Overall, it is clear that the boys and the girls tend to do distinctive things with different percentages.
As can be seen from the first pie graph, the boys spend time playing more than learning. The highest percentage of computer games makes up 34 percent and is followed by basketball about 26 percent. The lowest proportion of reading activity of the boys just accounts for 2 percent.
In contrast to the first pie, the second pie shows the first pie different pattern in which activities of the girls tend to their hobbies and learning more. The biggest part shows the proportion of dancing comprises 27 percent and is followed by reading at 21 percent. Listening to music has the smallest part with 10 percent.
To sum up, the boys and girls spend time doing different things, it rarely has the same. However, the further interesting point is that they have a similar proportion of listening to music.
