When students move to a new school, they sometimes face problems. How can schools help these students with their problems? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your answer.
When students are introduced to a new learning environment, they frequently face numerous challenges that they must overcome. The school should devise strategies to assist new students in quickly adjusting to their new surroundings.
When a student transfers to a new school, he or she may encounter difficulties. I believe that almost everyone, including myself, has had to relocate at some point in their lives. During my childhood, my family moved twice. My father is an architect, so when the old construction was finished and my father was hired to develop a new project, my family had to relocate. "No friends" and "a large number of new people" were two major issues I had to deal with in a new school. In the following paragraphs, I will examine these issues and offer recommendations for how a school can assist a student in this situation.
The first challenge I faced in a new school was dealing with a large number of new people, including teachers and classmates, who had no idea who I was. With the teachers, it was simple; I usually stayed after class, introduced myself, and inquired about their curriculum. It was a little more difficult with my new classmates. Because this is how students get to know each other, I had to stand up for myself a few times. However, I believe there is a more effective way to get to know one another. Schools, in my opinion, should be involved in this process. They could, for example, hold a welcome class where new students can meet and introduce themselves to their classmates.
The second issue I had in a new school was that I didn't have any friends. I couldn't see my old friends because they lived too far away, and I didn't have the opportunity to meet new people. Nowadays, I believe it is much easier because almost every student has access to the Internet, allowing him to reconnect with old friends. Unfortunately, when I was a student, I did not have such an opportunity. I believe that schools can assist newcomers by assisting them in integrating more quickly into their new classes. For example, a school can pair someone with a newcomer, and the first will assist the new student in acclimating to his new surroundings.
Finally, I'd like to point out that transitioning from one school to another entails not only challenges but also numerous advantages. For example, I learned how to quickly make new friends and overcome challenges. I believe it strengthened me as a person, and I am grateful to have had this experience in my life.
