The given line graph illustrated the number of enquiries sent to the Tourist Information Office in a particular city between January to June in 2010.
It was clear that visitors in a city made the most inquiries in person, while two other choices were writing letters, emails and using telephone became less common. Overall, the number of inquiries in person had the most dramatic change among the two alternatives.
In January, the Tourist Information Office had the most amount of inquiries from using the telephone, about 900 calls, while writing emails and letters became the least common choice, just about 700 asks. Not many tourists chose to ask for information in person. For over two months, in March. Tourist Information Office had more enquiries by asking people, increased from just over 400 to 600 enquiries. From January to February, using the telephone had a slight fall, but in March, the telephone upflited to 1000 inquiries. Writing letters and emails nearly reached a plateau during this period.
From April to June, all three choices had different changes. Asking person showed an upward trend by shooting up almost 2000 enquiries. There was a flat at just below 600 inquiries in the number of tourists writing letters and emails for information in April, which was followed by a decrease to nearly 400 asks in June. Besides the development of making inquiries in person, via telephone also had a jump to 1600 enquiries in June, after going down and stabilizing in the previous period.
