Advantages and disadvantages of using intelligent robots.
There is much controversy over whether the use of intelligent robots should be encouraged or not. Some people believe that A.I is so useful while others believe it may be dangerous. From my point of view, using intelligent robots has both pros and cons.
On the one hand, applying A.I to life can bring numerous benefits. First, the use of robots can replace the human workforce and reduce the cost of production. Unlike humans, robots can work endlessly without salary and breaks. They can not only think faster than humans but also perform multiple tasks at one time accurately and effectively, which can bring more profits. Therefore, the use of intelligent robots in companies and factories may become popular in the future. Additionally, intelligent robots are efficient assistants in important fields, especially medicine. In hospitals, robots will work as medical doctors performing operations on patients and helping human doctors to identify damaged organs. Besides, using A.I robots in therapy is a new but effective way to help patients reduce stress and revive faster.
On the other hand, the use of artificially intelligent robots still has some drawbacks. One downside is that intelligent robots can cost an arm and a leg. The production of robots requires plenty of time, resources and can cost a huge deal of money. As a result, it may be difficult for many people to afford to have their own robots. Moreover, A.I robots’ unexpected errors can cause serious consequences. When attacked by malware or viruses, or disabled by power failure, A.I robots may lead to the misuse and destruction to the world.
To conclude, intelligent robots have both benefits and downsides. However, there is no doubt that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Therefore, if people use robots reasonably, they can make our future life much easier.
