The diagram illustrates the process of constructing a traditional tent called a teepee.
Overall, there involve 8 major steps, commencing with building up a wooden frame and culminating in staking the tent on the ground.
The first stage is when three solid poles are fashioned together with a clove hitch knot made by weaving a piece of rope, forming a tripod. This structure is then pulled up with the support of a helper so as to create an isosceles triangle. In order for it to be consolidated, more sticks are added one after another while wrapping the joint with the durable rope until the frame is sturdy enough.
As soon as the framework is erected, a canvas that is water-resistant is unrolled from the back wall to the initial door pole. The open side left after this process, which is also called flaps, is subsequently affixed with a couple of metal pins. However, the teepee can only be completed when it is secured thanks to a number of metal tent stakes before being utilised.
