The given line graph below illustrates the millions of oil barrels per day of the oil production and consumption between 1982 and 2006 in China. Overall, it is clearly seen that the consumption tended to increase gradually as well as the production.
Interestingly, from 1982 to 1992 had the different lines between the production and consumption in China. To begin from early consumption which got almost 2 million oil barrels per day had a mere rise, at 2 millions of barrels per day. Subsequently, it was increase to approximately 3.5 millions of oil barrels per day. In contrast, the production starting from 1982 to 1993 which witnessed sharply at 3 millions barrels per day and remained stable to the same number of consumption.
Afterwards, 1993 to 2006, the production experienced an increase significantly and reached over 6 millions of oil barrels per day while the production only got a slight increase to around 3.5 millions of barrels per day.
