The reading text and lecture are both about the grave dating found in the 13 meter long ship is belong to the King to the King Raedwald rather than the East Anglian king. Lecturer believe that this jewlry is belong to the other king rather than the King Raedwald.
Firstly, The author argues that, archeologist suggest that the these coin found from this ship was 620s old. Additionally, he suggests that historian is evident that this king was died in 624. So, this gold is belonging to him. On the other hand, lecturer stance that, another evident despite of the author present is showing that, this king was died 25 year earlier that author says. moreover, there is also probability of uncertainty in dating of this artifacts.
Secondly, reading passage said that, this kind of great amount of gold is belonging to that king, which was powerful in this time. Writer also said that, King Raedwald was the only very powerful king during that time. In contrast, lecturer is opposing this, and saud that lot attacker are coming from the various area. So, there is possibility of theft of the older gold reserve of other king, which far bigger that the King Raedwald.
In the end, The Reading text showing that, at te time digging of this grave the worker found two spoon with imprints od the "Sauls" and "Pauls" , which was the christians. Who converts the king religions into the Christianity. Historial showing up that this king was a christians. on the other end, lecturer believe that this spoon was gifted to the king by this two christians.
