The line graph compares the percentage of people who bought coffee and tea and their drinking habits in five cities in Australia in the last four weeks.
It is clear that residents living in Sydney, Melbourne, and Hobart consumed more coffee and tea than those in the other two cities. In addition, instant coffee was more popular than fresh coffee across all five cities.
Over 60% of people passing by the coffee shop for coffee or tea in Melbourne and Hobart, which were the highest figures shown in the chart. The percentage of citizens purchasing instant coffee in Melbourne was around 47%, which was about 5% lower than in Hobart. By contrast, the figure for fresh coffee in the former city was roughly 42%, compared to approximately 38% in the latter city.
The proportion of individuals who visited the coffee shop to have coffee or tea in Sydney was around 60%, which was higher than that in Brisbane and Adelaide, at 55% and 50%, respectively. The lowest percentages were found in Brisbane and Adelaide, where only under 35% of people purchased fresh coffee in the last 4 weeks.
