Overall, it is clear that while people in Italy own the most mobile phones, Denmark has the highest level of telephones ownership.

It can be seen from the chart that the number of mobile phones in Italy is 90, which is nearly 50 higher than the proportion of telephones in this country. The figures for mobile phones in Sweden and the UK are equal, at about 86, but the ownership of telephones in the former are lower than in the latter, at about nearly 60 and 70. The gap between the ownership of cell phones and landlines in Denmark is small.
The figures for landlines in Germany, Canada and the US range from above 60 to approximately 70. The lowest level of mobile phone ownership is found in Canada. Meanwhile, the number of cell phones in Germany is about 70, which is considerably higher than that in the US, at under 50.
