The given bar chart illustrates how many students in both genders studying
at unniversity chose eight different kinds of subjects in 2005.
As can be seen that the quantity of male students learning Sciences and
Mathematics were the highest. Meanwhile Social Sciences and Languages were
two courses which were the most prefered by females.
In details, there were jusst under 25,000 girls chose Social Sciences, being
nearly double the number of male students. Besides, the total peak at the highest
nunber compared with the other courses. Next came to Languages, while around
18,000 was the number of girls, only 2,000 for boys. Addtionally, two subjects
were chosen by almost males students were Sciences and Mathematics. The
number were approximately 22,000 and 18,000 for males, 10,000 and nearly 5,000
for females respectively.
Interstingly, Humanities attracted just over 10,000 students and it equally
divided into two genders. There were more girls (9,000) stuying The Arts than
boys (2,500). 15,000 and 11,000 were the number of boys and girls chose
Literature to learn in unniversity respondingly. In Law, the number of female students was nearly half of the male with 10,000
