The given pie graphs compare how many activitives which most favored by American over a 10-year period from 1999 to 2009.

At first glance it is clear that walking and soccer was by far the most favored activities in both years, both of which accounted for nearly half of the total propotion.

As can be seen from the graph, in both 1999 to 2009 , the majority of American choosen walking to other forms, ranging from 29% to 31 %. Soccer was ranked second also in this survey, made up 17% in 1999 and increased 1% in 2009.
On the other hand, figures for remaining types changed notable. While swimming jumped double from 9% to 18%, this patten was completely reversed in jogging, bicycling and aerobics. The percentage of people choosing three kinds in their free time is just under one-fourth percent. Going camping in the least favorite activities, almost unchanged, with averging 8,5% in both years.

It is also worth noting that yoga disappeared and replaced by weighlifiting in 2009.
