Say what type of unpaid work you would be able to do
Give details of when you would be available for this work.
Dear Sir,
I am writing in reference to express my interest regarding an advert for unpaid work at the hospital. Let me explain in detail.
To elucidate I have been involved with a plethora of organizations from my university days whereby I have been responsible for voluntary work in the collection of funds through various charity events. Additionally, I have also worked with various non-government organization like Red-cross and UNICEF whereby I have been responsible for organizing free medical health check-up camps for destitute people. Last month I was in the North Eastern part of India where our team went to the villages to spread awareness about Polio and also organized free vaccinations for the children. Hence doing voluntary work provides me with immense satisfaction and help in spreading awareness in society to help the poor people, therefore, I would be keen to do unpaid work in the hospital.
Although I have worked in the past on many unpaid roles with voluntary organizations however this time I would prefer to do work with the accounts department as I am an accountant by profession. Lastly, I would be free on weekends from 9 am to 5 pm to do such type of work at your hospital.
Looking forward to your response and considering my application.
Yours sincerely
Saad
