The restoration of old buildings in major cities in the world spends numerous government expenditures. This money should be use in new housing and road development. To what extent do you agree or disagree.
Nowadays, the government has to be very careful in spending their budget to improve the facilities of the country. some people may think that money should be spent to restore old buildings in the main cities, while other consider new houses and roads would be a better choice . From my perspective, i believe that both ideas is equally important for those following reasons.
On the one hand, it is necessary to reconstruct old buildings in the city to avoid dangerous to the people. it can easily be seen that there are constructions that has existed up to 50 years or even more. So no one can make sure when they will collapse and thus create a threat to people living near those buildings. Moreover, if the government rebuild old buildings, it would be a great way to improve the face of the city. people living in the city for a while must have been familiar with the existence of some old buildings. Hence if they have to witness those being destroyed and new architecture are build up, it will not be a pleasant experience. For this reason, restore old building would be a better choice
On the other hand, the city council has to use their budget on different infrastructure. The same amount of money spent on restoring an old construction can be used to build up two new one. As a result, spending too much money on this would create disagreement from people in the city.
In a nutshell, expenditure on restoring old building can be huge. Consequently it is not very wise to spend to use too much money on this problems. Instead the government should balance out between this and using budget on construct new facilities such as roads, hospital, school,...
