The graph illustrates the amount of wheat exported in three different geographical regions between the year 1995 and 1990.
Overall, wheat export in Canada and Europe increased with some fluctuations while in Australia, the amount of exported wheat declined throughout the period.
As the graph shows, the export of wheat in Canada started at around 20 million tonnes in 1985 followed by a gradual decline to around 17 million tonnes in 1986. This figure, then rose steadily until 1988 where it reached a peak of 25 million tonnes before falling to less than 15 million tones in 1989. Afterwards, this amount experienced considerable growth to just under 20 million tonnes in the last year.
Similarly, Europe exported around 17 million tones of wheat in 1985 which decreased to less than 15 million tonnes in just 1 year. However, this figure rised slowly to 15 million tonnes in jsu t1 year. However, this figure rose slowly to 15 milllion tonnes in 1988 before witnessing steady growth to around 19 milllion tonnes and 21 million tonnes in 1989 and 1990 respectively. On the other hand, the export of wheat in Australia experienced a rise to approximately 16 million tonnes till 1986 after which it declined steadily to just above 10 million tonnes in the last given year.
