The chart provides the information on charity given by people of different age groups in British countries for two years, 1990 and 2010. Overall, the chart shows that more people believed in giving charity in year 1990 than those in 2010. it is worth noticing that elderly people always contributed more as compared to young counterparts.
In 1990, around 42% of donations made by people from 36-50 years of age group, being the highest percentage over all the age groups in the period of 20 years. The lowest of all, around 17% of donations were made by younger group, 18-25 years of age. The people over 50 years showed declined rate of contribution.
The charity made by people in the age group below 50 years was seen to be decreased in 2010. The younger pupils made around 6% of charity in 2010, which is lowest in the 20 years. The people over 50s were observed to be contributing more in 2010 as compared to 1990. around 39% of charity was made by elders in the age group of 51-65, which was highest in 2010.
