You have a meeting with your manager the next day. Write a letter telling him/her what you are going to discuss in the meeting.
In your letter, you should tell:
what you have done for the company in the year you worked there
what changes you would like to recommend
what training you require
Dear Mr Williams,
I am writing to remind you about the meeting tomorrow. Although we have discussed briefly about the topics to be discussed, I think have a document would be really helpful in the future, for reference purpose.
During the year in which I have worked for the company, I have implemented several measures to ensure that tasks are delivered on time. I have introduced a task management system to the team where they will provide details of the work they do everyday. This will not only help the team members to adhere to their given list of tasks but also allow the stakeholders to get a brief overview on the progress of the project.
However, I believe there are still some inconsistencies with the flow of work. I would like to recommend having a weekly meeting with the stakeholder so that any recommendations or change requests can be incorporated in a timely manner rather than rushing in at the last minute, which might compromise with the quality of the product.
I would also like to request you to grant me the permission of attending a certification course, which can greatly contribute to the performance and productivity of the team.
I look forward to discussing further details regarding the matter in the meeting tomorrow.
Yours sincerely,
XYZ
