The chart illustrates the value of one nation’s export in different five goods and products- petroleum, engineered, gems and jewelry, agricultural and textiles in between 2015 and 2016, while the table depicts the real value change in percentages in same time period. The export value was given in billions dollar.
Overall, as shown in bar chart, petroleum products were the highest exported goods and textiles was the lowest in both year 2015 and 2016. However, textile has a highest percentage change in value.
To begin with, in 2015, petroleum products was the highest exported goods, which contribute around 60 billion dollars in one nation’s economy and it was followed by engineered goods with above 55 billion dollars. Similarly, gems and jewelry, agricultural products were recorded just over 40 and 30 billion dollars respectively. Furthermore, textile has a least contribution in economy with approximately 26 billion dollars. In term of 2016 export earning, export rose in all products and goods except gems and jewelry. Petroleum product rose insignificantly in 2016, just by nearly 2 billion dollar and recorded as the highest exported product of 2016 as well. Engineered goods was accounted just above 60 billion dollars and textile were recorded around 31 billion dollars. In contrast, in agricultural sector value almost remain constant as 2015, however in gems and jewelry, export decreased by about 2 billion dollars.
Morning to the table, except jems and jewelry, all four goods and products export rose in country, where textile demand upsurged by 15.24% , however agricultural products rose by tiny percentages, below 1%. Furthermore, petroleum products and engineered goods uplifted by 3% and 8.5% respectively in 2016. Gems and jewelry demand declined by 5.18% in one country.
